Tricare requests that after the NDC # that we put a P for package or U for unit for all injectables. Does anyone know the difference between an injectable package and an injectable unit? Thanks

I don't know for certain but this could possibly refer to if the drug is a single use package or multiple use package. Our office has not run into this issue as of yet but we do have issues with NJ Medicaid requesting Units or MLs for all of our billed drugs.
