what diagnosis code would you use for tubal occlusion? The patient had and HSG. The postoperative dx is patent left tube and absent right tube.

It sounds to me that he was thinking the patient had a tubal occlusion and when the hsg was performed there was no occlusion found. I would have to say V71.89 unless she has other signs or symptoms documented.
