Hi Billers and coders out there, I need help with coding a C-section with twin babies, with an assistance surgeon. would I need to put a modifier for the cpt code.....pls help

Please confirm if your physician is the main surgeon or assistant surgeon.
If your provider is the main delivering surgeon, then code as :
59510 (C-Section; Antepartum, Delivery with Postpartum care) or
59515 (C-Section; Delivery with Postpartum care) or
59514 (C-Section; Delivery only)
If your provider is the assistant surgeon, then code as :
59514 with modifier 80
