ICD-9 guidelines state use History V codes when a patient is still being seen in follow up after treatment for cancer is completed. Pt has no other complaints. Will the V10.XX be paid by insurance companies? I can not find any information regarding if paid or not.

V10.xx codes are allowed first listed, and should be paid, there is also the V67.2 for followup following chemo which can be used as the first listed code followed by the V10.xx
