This is a new one for me. Vaginal delivery of twins on the same day, same setting but delivered by two different doctors. Doc C was delivering baby A while Doc L was monitoring baby B by ultrasound and then delivered baby B. I am not sure how to code this. Is Doc C primary with Doc L assisting? Is this a co-surgeon setting? Or do I bill Doc C for 1 baby and Doc L bills separately For baby B? Doc C did not assist in delivery of baby B and Doc L did not assist in delivery of baby A. HELP
 
I would say that one Doc is giong to bill global OB (which includes the delivery of 1 baby) and the other will bill vaginal delivery only. Or in the case that global OB is not an option, both Docs could bill vaginal delivery only (each for 1 baby)
