Due to the Medicaid Expansion approved in Virginia, Medicaid will now cover adult wellness exams beginning Jan. 1, 2019. However, I need clarification on the billing of it.
Can we bill the Preventative Exam cpt codes? Or do we bill an Office Visit E/M code with the preventative Z-diagnosis code?
