Wiki Visco injections

Our doctors have been doing Viscosupplementation injections for quite some time now. We also know that it is only indicated for the knee. Has anyone ever had the patient get their medication from the pharmacy and then injecting it into another joint? My doctor is asking, he is concerned it's not kosher. Does anyone have any advice?

Our physician does shoulders too. We only charge for the injection and use samples for the meds.

I have seen our doctors use it on a shoulder once, if the patient supplies the viscosupplementation we only charge 20610.
