SUMMARY: The Auditor is responsible for performing detailed, comprehensive reviews of
(1) specific processes within the organization to measure the strengths and weaknesses
against our own processes and system strategies and (2) coding and billing
practices to ensure the highest revenue possible for external clients. The Auditor
ensures all functions, processes, and production comply with all laws and
regulations as well as assesses operations and processes to help guarantee the
organization runs productively and efficiently. The position requires
initiative, dependability, attention to detail, knowledge and understanding of
anesthesia billing operations, and a commitment to continually improve workflow
processes, training material, and policy and procedure documents.
Duties include but are
not limited to:

Performs
daily audits to ensure quality standards are met and errors are addressed.

Reports
operational effectiveness, shortfalls, and corrective action plan
accomplishments to the Director of Client Services.

Assesses
audit results to determine the effectiveness of operational processes. Compiles
and presents improvement recommendations for operational activities and
processes.

Conducts
audit planning and exit meetings with the Senior Leadership.
·
Assists
with key company initiatives and projects to support continuous process
improvement, quality, productivity, and business growth.
·
Assists
with the development of corrective action plans when inconsistencies are
detected.
·
Assists
Director of Client Services with the development of new audits processes based
on the organization’s needs.
·
Evaluates
audit processes objectively to determine the effectiveness
of the audit functions.
·
Ensures
all functions, processes, and production processes comply with all laws and
regulations.
·
Ensures compliance with all Health Insurance Portability
and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
·
Performs
other duties as required or assigned within the scope of responsibility.
