Coder needed with Professional Fee Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic
Surgery Coding Experience
Health Information Partners (HIP) seeks two Coders with
Professional Fee Coding experience specializing in
Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery. This is a part-time position.
Workdays/hours are flexible. Work remotely from home.
Job Requirements:
· 3+ years of recent Professional Fee Coding Experience
· Experience Coding Cardiovascular Surgery cases
· Experience with Congenital Diagnostic Testing
· Expert knowledge of ICD10, CPT, and HCPCS
· Candidates will also need to have experience coding Inpatient
E/M visits, Critical Care, and Bedside procedures
· Epic software (EMR & Billing) experience is required
· CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification is required
· CCVTC Credential is a plus
Candidates will:
· Successfully pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test
· Successfully pass a criminal record/OIG/drug screening
