Our Corporate Office in Fort Myers, FL is searching for an Coding Manager/Radiation to join our team!
Monday - Friday Work Week, Days (Example: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Manages the day-to-day workflow of the Radiation Oncology coding team, providing direct oversight of the Radiation Oncology Coders as well as guidance and training to the team.
Maintains and regularly updates the Department's records and logs. Assists with audits and investigations and routinely assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.
Routine interaction with the Radiation Oncologist and Leadership to collaborate on processes and improvement areas.
Independent judgment and superior organizational skills are required to prioritize and organize workload across the team, and to recommend changes to departmental practices and procedures.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or higher education preferred.
Previous Experience: Three (3) years of Radiation coding experience. Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role or demonstrated experience with team oversight required.
Core Capabilities: Full understanding of coding requirements for various payers.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Certifications/Licenses: Radiation/Oncology certification
