Coding Specialist to support the National Correct Coding Initiative contract. Experience in all aspects of medical coding and billing, preferred claims processing knowledge. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid bundling edits, medically unlikely edits and add-on code edits. Ability to research CMS policy and publications. Required certification as a Medical Coder, CPC preferred. Ability to work with a team to support the creation, maintenance and review of edits. Experience with technical medical writing and use of Excel, Word preferred. Familiarity with HCPCS, code descriptors and payment policy preferred. Remote position with occasional travel.
