Job Summary: Reports to the Director, Provider Compliance. Persons in this position provide one on one as well as classroom instruction to providers, including advanced practice clinicians and medical assistants, and other personnel throughout LVPG and its subsidiary corporations. They must evaluate, prepare, and create presentations and handouts as needed for those who are the audience or intended target of an educational program. These personnel maintain a database that tracks educational modules/offering, participation in training events, and (as appropriate) credit earned for completing training courses - online, in person or at conferences. Persons in this position must be able to work directly with all levels of LVPG professionals (including providers and management staff) in a knowledgeable, courteous, and prepared manner as they provide one-on-one as well as classroom instruction.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma with CPC, CCS-P, and/or RHIT required
3 years of professional fee coding/auditing experience in a multi-specialty environment.
Knowledge of MS office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) Must possess the ability to perform research and development for establishment of the curriculum to be used in educational classes. Must be able to speak and present in a coherent, professional manner to a widely diverse set of audience that could range from medical doctors to administrative staff
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in healthcare field. Healthcare Compliance Certification
5 years of professional fee coding/auditing experience in a multi-specialty environment. Comfort and proficiency with public speaking, developing training programs, and designing presentations.
Knowledge of EPIC, MD Audit
Licensure and Certifications: Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P, and/or RHIT)
Ability to travel to client locations and possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
