The Coordinator, Coding oversees Administrative Leads and Administrative Assistants to ensure all processes and workflows are completed timely and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.        Oversees the Administrative Assistants/Administrative Leads daily production team reports to ensure all charts that are assigned and coded

a.        Prepares report of difference and why if they are not assigned and coded

b.       Works with Assistant Manager to  track, report and correct errors to notify appropriate department/client as well as partners

c.        Identifies issues and resolves independently in line with department expectations

d.       Delegates assignments and responsibilities to Administrative Leads and ensure completion

e.        Works closely with Administrative Leads and Manager to accomplish department goals

2.        Reviews and updates department processes and workflows

3.        Manages recruitment process including

a.        Identifying needs

b.       Posting internally

c.        Screening and interviewing candidates

4.        Ensures cooperative team environment by

a.        Effectively communicating with staff about department and company initiatives

b.       Adjusting procedures as necessary to create process efficiencies

c.        Escalating Staff Issues to Management

d.       Encouraging constructive feedback from staff and between team members

5.        Provides on-going feedback and annual performance reviews

6.        Oversees Administrative Assistant’s distribution e-mail to ensure coding queries are being responded to accurately and timely; provides support as needed

7.        Completes special projects as assigned

8.        Adheres to the Code of Conduct and is familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Computer Skills

Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.


1.        Prior experience and proficiency with MS Excel required

2.        Coding experience and/or certification is a plus

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

1.        Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; this ability will encompass using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

2.        Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages

3.        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals

4.        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

5.        Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

6.        Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

7.        Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

8.        Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

9.        Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
