Purpose
Provide audit and education support for the quality and education department. Facilitate and provide oversight of client-facing audit process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate and identify training needs
- Work with vendors and Talent Transformation team to review and provide feedback on training materials
- Assist with progression of training materials into Logix Learning
- Work with Quality Managers to identify/suggest trends to monitor through audit
- Assist in development of new and updated educational opportunities for the internal departments
- Complete and provide oversight of client-facing audit process
- Provide written and/or oral audit defense of coded accounts
- Facilitate and participate in client meetings
- Uphold company mission, vision and values
- Ensure compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal laws and regulations relating to operations and employment
- Comply with all State and Federal Laws regarding an effective Compliance Program inclusive of HIPAA Privacy and Security
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position
- Facilitate meetings within department and make presentations to senior management as needed
- Create and maintain educational and resource documents

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree or certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current coding certification required
Computer Skills
Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.
Experience
- Prior Emergency Department specific coding background with a familiarity of different types of chart constructs is preferred
- Extensive evaluation and management coding background is required
- Prior experience working in audit environment required
