Trumbull Dermatology practice looking to hire EXPERIENCED certified procedural coder with ICD-10 knowledge for full-time position.

Must be able to interpret medical documentation from paper charts, apply appropriate ICD 10, CPT and MIPS codes, create and submit claims electronically. This office does not create Superbills.

Knowledge of NCCI edits table and E/M Leveling is critical. Must have the ability to effectively follow up with insurance companies; research claim denials and appeal rejected claims.

Must have experience coding Medicare/Medicaid.

As with all staff positions, it is of utmost importance that sensitive information is handled confidentially.

Additional Role as support and back-up to the front office Medical Administrative Assistants as needed.

Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Thurs – approx. 34 hours)

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
