The Health Information Coding Assistant Manager assists in the day to day operations for the department related to coding and CDI (clinical documentation improvement). Serve on committee's to ensure adherence and compliance of the legal medical records institution. Have oversight for all management of of HIM (health information management) for all aspects of compliance with the medical records programs, including chart completion, abstracting and coding, storage and retrieval, and tumor registry. Prepares and monitors operating and capital expense budgets; evaluates staffing, equipment, and supplies.
