As our Hospital Compliance Auditor Trainer, you will provide key support to our compliance functions You will be responsible for collecting, collating and analyzing hospital data to identify compliance risks or areas of potential non-compliance. You will develop audit tools, perform compliance audits, and analyze and summarize audit findings. You will also train and educate staff on hospital compliance issues and act as a liaison for hospital compliance queries.
We're seeking an exceptionally skilled professional with:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Three years of relevant experience, including at least two years of compliance experience in an academic medical center
Certification in COC, or CIC, or CCS
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare coding
Thorough understanding of applicable federal and state statutes, laws, rules and regulations
Knowledge of the essential elements of an effective compliance program
Understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations
Proven expertise in conducting compliance audits, investigations and educational programs
Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
Excellent attention to details
Proficiency with MS Office
