General Purpose:
This
position supports the Department of Surgery. Specifically, this position will
serve as the primary liaison between Department staff and the Central Billing
Office stakeholders. Emphasis of the role centers on billing reports, trending,
coding challenges, and other related issues that may arise.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s
degree in a related field of study and three years of related work experience
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work, plan, research and conduct
projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively; take
ownership and accountability for timeliness, accuracy and relationship
management.
- Ability to analyze and interpret detailed reports
and develop clear conclusions of summarized findings.
- Ability to perform quality assurance on
individual accounts and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for
revenue cycle.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
