seeking qualified coding professionals for positions throughout the USA.
All candidates must be credentialed by AAPC and or AHIMA; must
be able to satisfy the eligibility requirements for obtaining a government
issued security clearance and have the following:
·Physical
and annual immunizations as well as TB testing and flu shots

Minimum degree required is an Associates. Bachelor’s degree in
healthcare or related field desired; supplemented with two (2) or more years of
coding work experience. DoD coding experience desirable.

Medical Coder (Outpatient and
Inpatient positions). Worksite: Onsite at various military treatment facilities
across the USA
CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
certification required. Must be ICD-10 Proficient
Job
description: Review of medical record
documentation and code physician services utilizing current ICD-10 (CM and or PCS) and CPT
classifications systems. Follow up on issues or trends found within the
documentation of a particular physician for evaluation and refer to auditor as
necessary. Prior Military Health System experience preferred. Must be able to
obtain government issued security clearance.
·Minimum 2 years coding
work experience (3 years if no DoD coding experience). If no Associates degree,
additional coding experience (2 -5 years) is required.
·For outpatient--Must be able to code
minimum 120 outpatient encounters at minimum 95% accuracy daily
·For inpatient, must be
able to code minimum 24 inpatient encounters daily and or code minimum 60 APV
charts a day at minimum 95% accuracy.

Proficient
Job Description: Review
of medical record documentation and physician services utilizing current ICD-9
and CPT classifications systems. Experienced with ICD-9-CM converting to
ICD-10, (both CM and PCS). Auditing of coding, formulation of training plans and
individual/group training. Follow up on issues or trends found within the
documentation of a particular physician for evaluation and further training. May need to provide 30+ hours of provider
training each month with travel (less than 10%) possible.

Must be able to analysis/do an
audit of inpatient charts at a rate of 10 per hour or 80 per day or greater at
minimum 96% accuracy daily.

Minimum 3 -5 years of auditing
