Standard Technology, Inc. (STI), a certified woman owned business, providing clinical coding, auditing, training and CDIS services and financial management support to the Department of Defense at its locations CONUS and OCONUS, is seeking qualified coding professionals for positions throughout the USA.
All candidates must be credentialed; must be able to satisfy the eligibility requirements for obtaining a government issued security clearance (US citizenship is required) and must have a physical and annual immunizations as well as TB testing and flu shots. Must successfully pass a coding assessment to be a qualified candidate.
Education: An associate’s degree in Health Information
Management; or at least 30 semester hours’ university/college credit that
includes relevant coursework such as anatomy/physiology, medical terminology,
health information management, and/or pharmacology, or successful completion of
an AAPC or AHIMA coding certification preparation course for professional
services or facility coding that includes medical terminology, anatomy and
physiology, health information management concepts, and pharmacology.
Experience: Mini of 3 years of medical coding and/or auditing experience
in 2 or more medical or surgical specialties within the past 10 years. A
minimum of one (1) year of performance in the specialty is required to be
qualifying. Multiple specialties encompass different medical specialties (i.e.
Family Practice, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, OB/GYN, etc.) that utilize ICD,
E&M, CPT, and HCPCS codes. DOD Experience desirable.
Outpatient Coder (worksite: Elgin, FL; JBS Lackland, TX; Elmerdorf, AK
Credential: Must have at least one: RHIT; RHIA; CPC or CCS-P AND Evaluation and Management
(E&M) Auditor Certification from NAMAS.
APV CODER
(worksite: Elgin, FL; JBS Lackland, TX; Elmerdorf, AK)Credential: Must have at least one: RHIT; RHIA; CPMA; CPC; COC;
or CCS-P (professional) AND (institutional) CIC or CCS as well as Certified
