Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Division of Clinical Operations, invites applicants to apply for the position of Medical Coding Specialist.

The Medical Coding Specialist monitors reimbursement coding activities on clinical services including securing, maintaining and distributing current coding information and implementing changes.
Applicants must meet the following education and experience:
High school diploma and minimum of (5) years of experience with coding and/or reimbursement activities, including experience of coding in health related practices.
OR
Associate's Degree and a minimum of (3) years of experience with coding and/or reimbursement activities, including experience of coding in health related practices.
OR
Bachelor's Degree and minimum one (1) year of experience with coding and/or reimbursement activities, including experience of coding in health related practices.
The Medical Coding Specialist must be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from AAPC or AHIMA.
