The Patient Financial Services (PFS) System Trainer/Project Coordinator is involved with most phases of creating curriculum, training, implementation and support of tools associated with Marshfield Clinic’s Patient Financial Services. This position trains in a wide variety of training environments. Ability to work and thrive in a team environment is critical. It requires the ability to make decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Policies/Procedure and the strict observance of confidentiality of patient, staff and clinic information.


**This position has the ability to work from either Marshfield, WI or Rice Lake, WI.**

·      High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education preferred with emphasis in Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator, Healthcare Business or Healthcare Management, plus additional coursework in teaching, writing, computer science and anatomy & physiology

·      Minimum 3 years of related work experience in a business office setting

·      Completion of diagnosis and CPT coding and medical terminology internal classes, within one year of hire

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

·      Ability to analyze business problems and find solutions

·      Additional preferred experience includes training in a Healthcare setting or adult teaching environment; technical writing and instructional design; and experience
