Revenue
Cycle Compliance Manager
Pasadena,
California – REMOTE POSITION
In this role, you
will be responsible for leading compliance initiatives both within the compliance
function and across functions across the enterprise, as well as managing
relationships and maintaining communications with stakeholders at all levels,
both internally and externally. You will be accountable for brokering
agreements and gaining support for compliance initiatives from decision makers
at all levels. Other duties include leading and directing the researching,
planning, implementation, monitoring, validation, and reporting for a broad
portfolio of compliance systems and initiatives to enable organizational
compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations/laws as
well as overseeing the protection of organizational assets. On an on-going
basis, you will oversee the research and interpretation of regulations and laws
to establish compliance standards and may direct the development and/or delivery
of training and communications/change management relative to new standards. You
will also be responsible for the assessment of organizational systems (both
physical and process or data related) to determine gaps in compliance and
determine opportunities for remediation and advising the organization on all
compliance matters. In addition, you may be responsible for directing the
investigation of violations of compliance policy, laws, regulations, etc. or
on-going monitoring and reporting to ensure remediation as well as project management
relative to new compliance, ethics, and integrity initiatives, products, or
annual processes.
Qualifications
Include:
·
At least two years of management experience
·
At least eight years of compliance-related
experience
·
A bachelor’s or clinical degree, or four years of
experience in a directly related field with a high school diploma or GED
·
Expert knowledge of compliance policies, practices,
and systems
·
The ability to develop advanced compliance
principles, theories, and concepts
·
Expert knowledge of compliance-related practices and
standards
·
Project management skills
·
The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership
environment
Preferred
Qualifications Include:
- CCS, CPC, or other Coding Certification
- CHC Certification
- Significant experience managing billing, coding, or revenue cycle
compliance functions
- Thorough understanding of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations
- Experience managing billing, coding, and documentation audits
- Experience with revenue cycle compliance or operations in the
inpatient or outpatient setting
- Experience with risk identification, mitigation, and remediation in
the revenue cycle space
- The ability to manage and delegate incoming requests for guidance or
investigate reported issues
- The ability to be comfortable developing and presenting revenue
cycle compliance education and training
