The Revenue Integrity Manager will have a specific focus on management and leadership for the Revenue Integrity team. Their goal is to enhance the effectiveness of patient net revenue realization and to minimize revenue leakage for AnMed Health. This involves complete capture of patient revenue in every area that generates patient charges. The Revenue Integrity Manager, along with their team, will have an expert understanding of the charging methodologies in place at AnMed Health and support the enterprise in effective revenue realization. This position will be responsible for the integrity of the Charge Description Master (CDM), strategic pricing, charging denials management, coding billing edits and clinical operations relationship management. The Revenue Integrity Manager will have a firm understanding of the governmental and non-governmental payment systems. This position will be responsible for assuring that the revenue integrity team drives integrity and maintains the Charge Description Master (CDM) as well as department charge capture processes and controls. The Revenue Integrity Manager will direct and assist in the development and implementation of process enhancements for organization and departmental initiatives to enhance charge capture accuracy and reimbursement. This position oversees the Revenue Integrity Analyst, and is responsible for oversight, understanding and communication of departmental charging processes, including the electronic health record charge linkages to the CDM.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years hospital revenue and/or professional billing revenue experience.
  • Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding guidelines
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to billing processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of the principles of Information Systems in order to effectively analyze and make decisions
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Skilled in problem solving, time management, and project management
  • Excellent ability to read, understand and interpret, analyze and apply complex regulatory requirements and statistical reports
  • Excellent understanding of multiple clinical disciplines
  • Ability to apply appropriate supervisory, management, and leadership techniques
  • Ability demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning
  • Ability to deal effectively with change, and be a change agent
  • Ability to willingly accept responsibility and/or delegate responsibility
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC/COC, CPC-H or other coding credentials strongly preferred
  • Certification as a Revenue Cycle Integrity Professional (CRIP)
  • Three years management experience
  • Experience in Epic revenue cycle and/or clinical applications strongly preferred
  • Experience with charge capture management and gross revenue management
  • Epic certification/proficiency for hospital/professional billing revenue integrity
