We are hiring now and have an immediate need for HCC QA Specialists, working either a minimum of part time 20 hours per week, or full time at 40 hours per week. Hourly pay rate.


* Manages coding guidelines, working with Aviacode and the Client to ensure appropriate guidelines are set and implemented
* Ensure that QA percentages are within acceptable ranges
* Ensures Coder compliance with Industry, Aviacode and Client guidelines
* Ensures Staff and Coder adherence to Aviacode processes, policies and procedures.
* Other coding related duties as assigned
* Effective interpersonal skills to maintain a good working relationship with Coder teams, Clients and peers within Aviacode
* Ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet job demands



* Current CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
* CRC preferred, but not required
* Must have at least 3 years of active HCC coding experience post credential
* Must have at least one year of active HCC QA review/auditing experience
* Must have at least 3 years of ICD-10 coding experience
* Must have proof of passing an ICD-10 Proficiency or Readiness Assessment through the AAPC or AHIMA
* Candidates will be required to pass a Risk Adjustment Coding Test
* Must Pass Background check
* Must be able to maintain a 95% accuracy rate
* Coders for this role must provide their own computer with a Professional Windows Based Operating System (MAC is not compatible) and dual monitors suggested
* Must be able to commit to working at least 20-29 hours per week for per diem positions and 40 hours per week for full time
* US-Based Candidates Only, Must Reside in the US
