    Question pacemaker checks
    Medical Coding Books
Patient has 427.81, pacemaker is now in place, do we still code 427.81 for pacer checks or should we be using V45.01? We have an HMO stating not to code 427.81 on pacers due to CMS Guidelines. Can any assist or guide me to the CMS publication.

    Thanks
    Karen
