    Default SNU Initial Visit

When the Dr sees an inpt and discharges (99238) and writes orders to admit to SNU that day, can he also charge an initial SNU admit (99304) even if he does not physically go to the SNU unit on same day?

  2. Default Snf readmissions
Did you get any response on this? We are trying to figure this out also. Please reply to me via my email which is Thank you!

  3. Default SNF admission
You can bill a discharge and an admission to a SNF, only if you do a face-to-face visit for both services. For the Admission into a SNF, you must document a Detail History; Detail PE; and low decision making.
