    What ICD10 would you choose for bacteremia with MRSA. No known source and not septic.

    Bacteremia R78.81 and:


    MRSA as the cause of diseases classified elsewhere B95.62
    or
    MRSA unspecified site A49.02

    Since you know that it's in the blood would that be considered a site and therefore use B95.62?

    When would you use the A49.02?
