Not sure of correct dx code

    Default Not sure of correct dx code
    Medical Coding Books
    Order is for x-ray skull 2 views, t-spine 2 views, c-spine x views and l-spine 2 views. The only clinical is POSTSURGICAL IMPLANT NERVE STIMULATOR. All x-rays are normal.

    V67.59 or V67.09

    I was thinking that also, but that dx code can't be used as a primary.

    When was the surgery performed? Is he still in his global period? If so, look at v58.7X.

    No idea when the surgery was performed.....nothing noted on health history form.
