  1. Default debridement/adhesion
    Medical Coding Books
You know i find myself posting op notes that I swore I was sure in coding, but so many diff. things have come up, this last year, in seminars i get one thing and then in coding books I get a contradictive answer to what I thought I knew! its Crazy!!!

so dr says he did debridement

4.5 mm shaver was introduced to debride loose articular cartilage from humeral head, glenoid and synovium. once this accomplished the undersurface of RC was also debrided, the subacromial space was entered, there were some adhesions, which were debrided with the shaver, the shoulder was irrigated out.

Shouldn't this all fall under 29823 extensive debridement, doctor thinks 29823 & 29825?

  2. #2
    only 29823, the 29825 bundles
