    Question Clarification of 90801

    AAPC: Back to School
Medicare guidelines state for code 90801:
It may be "utilized again for the same patient if a new episode of illness occurs after a hiatus, on admission or readmission to and inpatient status due to complications of the underlying condition".
Does anyone have clarification on timeframe limitations between "admission or readmission"?
