    Question Ring Removal
    Medical Coding Books
Isn't ring removal reported with the E/M? What if it is removed for a finger fracture - then wouldn't it be part of the fracture care? I have a doctor who wants to report ulisted CPT 26989.

The ring removal is included in the E/M. It would also be included within a fracture care code.
