Hello. I am sure everyone has heard about the Healthchoice payment issues. The problem goes all the way back to January 2008. However, our office has been having some of the same issues with United Healthcare for atleast 2-3 years. I read a few months ago that United Healthcare was being sued by the New York Attorney General which lead to United Healthcare purchasing a new system for processing claims (they will no longer use Ingenix). I just wonder if anyone else is having the same issues with United Healthcare's claims processing. They will sometimes say we are out of network and sometimes say we are a specialist and sometimes process correctly. They are working with our main office to fix the problems but I think 3 years is plenty enough time especially when Healthchoice is catching all of this negative publicity after 1 year. Any opinions??? Thanks!
