Has anyone ever billed a partial "open" cholesystectomy. Doc states that he removed the anterior wall. To me, this is not a cholesystectomy. You either remove the gallbladder or you don't, right???? Can someone share thoughts on this? What code would be used? Thanks.

The anterior wall of what??? Did he leave a hole in the gallbladder? How is it stated?
