    Default Cervical fracture question

    AAPC: Back to School
Doctor dx pt with a minimally displaced fracture of the odontoid and places her in a soft cervical collar. What code is used for this type of fx? The closest I can find is 22315 but I am not sure if this is correct.

    Default RE:

If the doctor simply put on the brace without manipulating the neck, use 22310. Otherwise, use 22315.
