    AAPC: Back to School
    my doctor reads and interprets sleep studies. my question is what date of service does he bill with? the date the sleep study was done or the date he reads and interpts the sleep study?

    Default Day sleep study done

    We have found that most carriers want the date of service for the interpretation to match the date of service for the procedure itself.

    We use the date the sleep studies were performed.
