Cleaning of Prosthetic eye

  1. Default Cleaning of Prosthetic eye
    Medical Coding Books
I have a patient that comes in for the PAC to clean his prosthetic eye. She uses the suction cup to pull out, rinses it with saline, wipes and puts back in. Is there a procedure code or am I okay using an office visit for this?

  2. Default
I would use an office visit with dx V52.2. Of course, there has to be enough documentation to bill the office visit.
