    Medical Coding Books
    Hi, I was just looking for advice on a code for "Status Post
    wrist fracture" would love to hear any opinions. Thanks in advance.

    If the Physician stated "Status post Wrist fracture", and no procedure done we can just code the Dx "Wrist fracture"(814.00)

    Y should we for aftercare?

    if dr done orif then code V54.09 AND IF HE IS NOT MENTIONING ORIF THEN CODE V54.89, AND STATUS POST MEAN AFTER PROCEDURE.
