Pre-op dx: Lipoma of the cecum
Post-op dx: Normal colon, no mucosal abnormalities

Procedure: Colonoscopy (Medicare patient)

Operative findings include normal colon, no mucosal abnormalities, slight indention of the cecum, but soft, consistent with lipoma.

Op note reads:

There was a small indention in the cecum. It looked like and external compression, which was very soft which would be consistent with a lipoma. There was not a lipoma on the wall as there was no obvious pillow sign."

Still ok to use 214.1 or 214.8??

Thanks for any help!
