Patient is hospital inpatient. WHile in the hospital, he needs to have his radiation treatment and is sent to a free standing radiation center for treatment and then goes back to hospital. How can the radiation therapy be billed and what place of service would be used? Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't see a reply from anyone. I also have this same question. Did you find an answer to this question outside of the AAPC Forum?
