    AAPC: Back to School
    Patient has a surgery ex. total shoulder done comes in for 1 year check up doing great has xrays done no pain not sure what dx to use besides V54.81
    Any input would be great

    Yes I would go with V67.xx for followup as opposed to aftercare. Aftercare implies that the is still something being done like dressing changes, while followup is a serveillance of the patient. This sounds like what you have.
