Observation care and prolonged services

    Exam Training Packages
    Are prolonged services codes compatible to bill with observation codes? Just wondering since time is not built into code description. I would appreciate any insight you can lend. Thank you

    No...Per CPT, observation codes are typically considered low, moderate or severe in nature.
