    Default Family Hx of HTN

    AAPC: Back to School
    Is it ok to code V17.49 (both parents have HTN) as a SDX with 278.00 for cardiology clinic. patient (15yrs) H/o BP 136 systolic

    I agree, also if you could get the BMI to add it will really help, the guidelines state the BMI can be documented by nonphysician personnel, such as nurse or nutritionist, and the coder may use that.
