Question Packaged codes same as bundled?

    AAPC: Back to School
Hello...I was wondering if "packaged" codes were the same as "bundled" codes. We got an EOB that says something about packaged vs. non-packaged codes. Thanks for your help!

    Default Packaged codes vs bundled

medicare defines bundling as; Bundling applies to coding and packaging applies to reimbursement. packaged services have an N status indicator. Bundled services have codes with status of Q1 Q2 or Q3. Even though packaged codes still come with an N, CMS may still reimburse for them. It simply means that payment is packaged
