    Default code for sluggish thyroid

    AAPC: Back to School
    Can anyone tell me how I would code this diagnosis: Sluggish Thyroid. Is it the same as hypothyroidism? Thanks for the help!

    Default sluggish thyroid

    This is very nonspecific so I would go with 246.8 or 246.9
