  1. Question Intrapartum
    Exam Training Packages
I have a physician who performed a manual rotation and delivery only. The rest of the OB care (antepartum, hosp admit and postpartum) was done by a midwife. The physician who delivered thinks there should be an intrapartum care code that the midwife should get credit for. Any input? THANKS!

No intrapartum code. The Midwife can only bill for the antepartum and the postpartum. The postpartum code does contain hospital visits directly after the delivery.

Thank you so much. That is what I was thinking but wanted to run it by another coder. Thanks again and have a good day!
