Spine- Removal of allograft

    Does anyone know the cpt code for removal of spinal allograft? would this be reported with unlisted code?

    North Carolina
    A code does not exist for the removal of bone graft. It's recommended that you don't report the removal if another graft is placed. If another graft isn't placed...I would use an unlisted code for the removal.
