    Default General ASC Reimbursement Questions

    AAPC: Back to School
    Just started billing out some pain management procedures in an ASC. Any tips that can be provided would be very welcomed.

    Do not use the 50 modifier in an ASC setting

    (medicare guidelines however I follow this one for all payors)

    I'm just learning the ASC vs. Physician billing rules so any help is welcome.

    its not a whole lot different, modifiers vary and you capture things on the ASC side that you would not on the physician side like implants etc.

    Also for c-arm and fluoro make sure you use the TC modifier.
