    Unhappy Ortho experts on shoulders?

    AAPC: Back to School
How do you determine if it is a SLAP or a Bankart? There is no exact guidance out there that I can find. This is a case where the labrum is off the glenoid, but it is anterior, not superior/ posterior. I wish there was a defining factor listed in the CPT Assistant or somewhere that gave good clear guidance. Anyone have any good references or answers? Thanks!

Examination of the shoulder arthroscopically revealed the anterior labrum which was off down to the 4:30 position. There was some slight fraying of the supraspinatus and then there was a split thickness tear of the subscapularis but no instability. This was debrided back to a stable edge

Attention was then turned to the anterior labrum, the anterior glenoid was roughened up down to bleeding bone and at that point
in time the two anchors were placed, one at the 4:30 position, on
at the 3 o'clock position, and using the suture lasso four suture
were passed through and tied securing the labrum to the anterior
