    Default Hemoccult

    AAPC: Back to School
He did have a rectal exam today and had a Hemoccult,
which was negative for screening of neoplasms of the rectum.

Does anyone know what code I should use for billing the Hemoccult or the rectal exam or even if it is billable?

    Default DRE part of exam

The DRE is part of the exam for your E/M service. Not separately billable.
